The suave spy will be driving his licence to kill around Rome
Rome’s iconic landmark The Via Quattro Fontane is set to appear in the new James Bond film. The classical backdrop looks set to appear in a car chase scene in a brand new Aston Martin.
Italy has previously welcomed the beloved British franchise as a picturesque shooting location in Craig’s first two Bond outings in Casino Royale (2006) and Quantum of Solace (2008).
MI6-HQ.com reports how Luciano Sovena (president of the Lazio Film Commission) praises the Bond blockbuster series and expressed how the foundation “intends to attract large foreign productions in the region and encourage independent Italian filmmaking”.
The film will be directed by Sam Mendes and stars Daniel Craig, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris and Ben Wishaw. The screenplay will be written by Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, who have scripted all the previous Daniel Craig movies, as well as The World is Not Enough (1999) and Die Another Day (2002).
Bond 24 will be unleashed in cinemas on 6 November 2015
